Although this is not from Staten Island, the streets are buzzing about Mob Wives Chicago.

The show is due to air on VH1 June 10th, and we are very excited as I'm sure these lovely ladies are as well.

Christina Scolrei, Pia Rizza, Renee Fercarotta, Leah DeSimone and Nora Schweihs will be the stars  of
 this new reality show.

Last night during the Mob Wives New York, we got the chance to see the promo/commercial  of the
 Mob Wives Chicago.

Here is the peek which excited so many on Twitter, including
myself.

WOW that just intrigued the senses and it has us all longing for June 10th to hurry up and get here.

We are all wondering just who are these mysterious
women and what ties do they have with the Mob!

Information seems to be in a "hush" mode, and it is better that way.

I am sure of this, it promises to be an exciting new and fresh
outlook of Chicago's families dealing with their loved ones
in the Mob~

~Staten Island-My Hometown~

Staten Island is a borough of New York and has a
population over 470.000 and is the least populated
but is the 3rd largest borough.

Staten Island is accessible to Brooklyn, Verrazano-Narrows
Bridge, and to New Jersey via the Outerbridge Crossing,
Goethals Bridge and finally Bayonne Bridge.

The Staten Island Ferry connects Staten Island and Manhattan,
and is a very popular tourist attraction. The S.I. Ferry takes you
on tours of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and of course Lower Manhattan.

So let me show you some pictures of my hometown and hope you enjoy.

The Staten Island Mall, so many stores under one roof makes shopping a good time.

The Staten Island Ferry coming in at night. This is a sight that you have to see. You can also see the  view of the
city all lit up, what a beautiful view.

This picture is of the Staten Island Range Lighthouse. This lighthouse stands 141 feet and was built in 1912, its
original light could be seen for 21 miles away.

Everyone knows this picture, The Statue of Liberty. This wonderful statue was designed and dedicated  on
October 28, 1886. She stands at 151 feet and 1 inch tall!

Staten Island Botanical Gardens was built in 1998 and is part of the Snug Harbor Cultural Center. Beautiful and
  peaceful place to walk through.

Staten Islands St. George Railway Terminal is at the corner of Bay St. and Richmond Terrace. It opened
  July 31, 1884.

The Drunken Monkey is a great place to go for a good time, it is also owned and operated by one of the stars of the hit
reality show The Mob Wives. Which brings me to the many
great people who live in Staten Island, as well as  those who
have been "pinched" in this town.

Renee Graziano, Carla Facciola, Drita DaVanzo & Karen Gravano

Angela Raiola from Mob Wives. To those in the mob that have been "pinched" in Staten Island.

Bonanno boss Badalamenti.

Salvatore (Sammy the Bull) Gravano.

That is only 2 of the many arrested in Staten Island. So we have the good, the bad, and the ugly like everywhere
 else in America.

All in all Staten Island is a great place to live and visit, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
